Sažetak
We examine positions of Croatia’s citizens on potentials for switch to sustainability and compare them to similar attitudes in European countries to indicate obstacles and advantages of Croatia’s position. Croatia’s size and historical development path are its advantage that should allow the country’s political community to activate the political mobilisation for an alternative developmental project, as well as the resources and capacities for its economic transformation.
