Sažetak
Compositional zoning patterns preserved within amphibole and garnet obtained by serial sectioning and X-ray WDS mapping provides independent and complementary data sets that give important insight into the processes of metamorphism of South Tisia area in Croatia. Compositional zoning in amphibole is detected as Si- and Mg-concentrations decreasing from core to rim along with increasing Al-, Fe-, Na-, K-, and Ti-content which can be generally interpreted as prograding metamorphism. Data collected on garnet from Moslavačka Gora yield almost uniform composition (with high grossular content) and homogenous pattern through grain with thin rims that are due to diffusion processes. Amphibole and garnet bearing parageneses from Moslavačka Gora, western part of Mt. Psunj and area of central Papuk record detail evidence of metamorphism history. Additionally thermobarometric calculations help in establishing two-stage (or complex polyphase ?) metamorphic model and clockwise P-T path.
