Sažetak
Internationalization of the retail trade refers to all forms of the activities of one retail trade firm outside the borders of the issuing country. The process, which allows entering of foreign retail traders into one country, makes the supply richer, but it also makes additional competition in that country. Because of that, domicile retail traders should be stimulated to improve their country. Because of that, domicile retail traders should be stimulated to improve their apperance on the market. Richer supply of goods and services in the retail trade can reduce the outflow of domestic purchasing power in some other countries and it can improve tourist offer, too. It points out the necessity of hving faster process of internationalization of Croatian retail trade
