Sažetak
The paper describes the practical work of LIS students from Department of Information Sciences at osijek Universtiy, Croatia which has been carried out in monastery libraries. The authors emphasize the importanc eof preservation of written heritage and explain how LIS students/volunteers can learn a lot by hands-on experience and at the same time do a valuable job for the whole society.
