Sažetak
Planning and co-ordinating the activities in emergency situations includes training of airport staff and other integral services with the aim of enabling them to minimise the consequences of emergency situations through their activities, especially in saving human lives and normalising airport operation and air traffic in general. Therefore, a computer program was developed in GIS (Geographic Information System) Arc View over the last three years at the Airport Split, intended for the local committee for emergency situations. Apart from many other functions, the national maps were digitised, geo-referenced, and coded at 1.50,000 scale in the area of 30 km radius around the airport. The contact of cyclic aerial photographs was carried out at a scale of 1:5,000 of the area 6km x 9km around the airport.
