Sažetak
Verbs, through their central role in clauses or sentences, are crucial in processing and understanding the message of discourse. Graphic presentations by adding a visual component enable more efficient acquisition of relations existing within verbal system. The role of lexical and function verbs is examined through their respective semantic roles and through their combinations in complex forms. The objective is to demenostrate the use of corpus-based methods in the analysis of grammatical aspects of discourse. The methods applied could be used independently of the level of education, of the length of the text and of the field analyzed.
