In attempt to reflect upon relationship between national and international/supranational law, the starting assumption was that international and Euroepan Union law are not merely additional bodies of law for judges to master, but that the encounter with new modes of reasoning has the potential to profoundly affect the legal culture in, both, 'old' and 'new' Member States.
