Sažetak
In the production of welded pipes applies fluid for cooling, lubricating and rinsing, which, besides the functional properties, has also corrosion protection properties. After the production process pipes are transported to a warehouse. During storage after some time were observed corrosion occurrences on certain areas of the pipes. This paper presents the examination of the corrosion causes on welded pipes. Detailed investigations of the possible corrosion causes were carried out: chemical composition of steel, technological parameters, the possibility of contamination pipes during the manufacturing process and storage. Since in the process of pipe production was used metalworking emulsion, it was assumed that one of the possible causes of corrosion is emulsion. The results of examinations have shown that the emulsion did not cause corrosion of welded pipes.
