Sažetak
If explants of conifers are taken immediately before the onset of vegetation in winter-spring changing the in-vitro culture is more successful. recent research of picea abies L.(Karst.), vegetative buds has shown that the crown part of the bud has an effect on the growth of vegetative buds in in-vitro culture. The beginning of forming a spring shoot from embrional tissue can be determined by measuring and comparing of areas of three structures composing the bud with reference neither to absolute magnitude of buds nor to their complete covet with scales.
