Sažetak
The simple rules for the prediction of secondary structure of porin-like proteins were derived by investigating the representative experimental structures. Such rules have a clear physical and chemical background and the implementation of these rules is much easier and faster than application of neural networks. The structure prediction program, called PORE_KEY, will be wrapped into the computational server, available freely on the Internet.
