Sažetak
This paper presents the behavior of niobium precipitates in steel microalloyed with niobium during phase transformation. A low carbon steel microalloyed with 0.048% Nb was thermomechanical rolled on an industrial mill with selected parameters on each rolling stand, especially by the finishing rolling[1, 2]. Termomechanical treatment is completed just before transformation phase. To determine the changes in the content and distribution of niobium precipitates during phase transformation samples were taken before and after the phase transformation. The phase transformation from austenite to ferrite-pearlite begins at 850 ° C, [4, 5]. After cooling, the degree of precipitation increase to 33.33%. Niobium precipitates are arranged in densely packed strings, within and across multiple grains, as shown on Figure 2. Composition of these niobium carbonitrides is Nb (C, N), but with the increased number of niobium carbides than in Figure 1. The obtained results showed that in the thermomechanical processing of niobium microalloyed steels, precipitation continues after the phase transformation. After the phase transformation in the composition of precipitates of niobium carbide has more than nitride.
