Sažetak
In the first part of the work, authors present a short description of the method of Quality Function Deployment (QFD), which is applicable in the phases of the designing, development and production of an industrial product. After that, this methodology was applied in the manufacturing industry. The application of the Quality Function Deployment method has been performed on a type of cam switch. Certain changes of the current product are being planned, and precisely the QFD method provides the possibility of an optimal selection of improvement, focusing on the wishes and needs of the customer. Within this method, four matrices are developed: the matrix for the product manufacture, the matrix for the part development, the matrix for the process development and the matrix for the production development.
