Sažetak
This work discusses the scope of the user-related information which is used for online charging in a mobile network as currently standardized by the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Forum. As a step forward in information utilization, this work discusses the need for broadening the scope of the information by including additional user information available in the network. Several use case scenarios presented in the work show how the broader information might be used for context-based online charging, and which would be the benefits thereof.
