Sažetak
Protective explorations were carried out in the complex of the church of St Asel in Nin in 1995/1996. Remains of dry-wall buildings, fireplaces, floorings and a considerable quantity of pottery belong to the prehistoric period. The whole layer belongs to the second stage of the Iron Age Liburnian culture and dates from the period from the 8th or 7th century B.C. to the 1st century B.C. A residental complex with a number of fragments of ceramic and glass vessels belongs to the Roman period. A single-naved longitudinal building from the early Christian period was found as a whole. Forty-nine tombs were explored and recorded in the whole area.
