Sažetak
The book reviewed is a result of the project LINEE (Languages In a Network of European Excellence 2006-2010), initiated by sociolinguist Peter Nelde (†) and funded by the European Commission. It addresses multilingualism in the EU in its socio-cultural, political and scientific dimensions within the context of advancing Europeanisation. The authors’ task within the LINEE project was to develop a research platform for theories and methods of multilingualism, which made it possible to summarise the results of the project with respect to the general theoretisation of multilingualism.
