Sažetak
From the time of antic up to present days in Croatia, one may follow a continued exploitation of dimension stone in less or greater intensity depending on the grade of building activity intensity. A long tradition of exploitation of stone today is, by growth of ecological consciousness, enriched by perception about inispensability of taking care of nature and quality of environment. A starting postulation in it is a cognition that the greatest wealth and the most important potential of the Republic of Croatia is in fact its whole state territory, exceptionally diverse, full of natural beauties and cultural heritage.
