Sažetak
Load frequency control (LFC) is a commonplace for balancing connected power systems and also an attractive research topic. With the deregulation of power system markets, new research challenges came into focus. Several recent studies, which propose introducing conventional markets also for balancing purposes, suggest that there is a necessity for generalizing the current LFC. The contribution of this paper is a proposal of a general balancing tool which covers both, regulated, and deregulated load frequency control, moreover, it makes implementation of conventional, two-sided markets possible, and is capable of implementing the integrated markets, i.e. cooperation in provision of reserves among different control areas.
