Sažetak
In this paper a control synthesis approach is presented for supplementary controllers in electrical power systems, with the goal of damping low frequency oscillations. The approach is based on restricted dissipativity and the generalized Kalman-Yakubovich-Popov (GKYP) lemma. The proposed synthesis approach is used to design a "power system stabilizer". The resulting controller is tested in simulations on a standard benchmark case of a multi-machine power system.
