Sažetak
Sustainability is one of the most commonly used concepts which are emphasized in discussions of tourism development. Today, tourist offer should be based on the sustainability and a synonym such as green tourism it shouldn’t be emphasized because it should become as an integral part of tourist offer. Therefore, one of the most important things when planning for tourism development is the proper sizing of the hotel industry through construction of energy- efficient hotels so-called green hotels in regards of the tourist capacity in the destination. The aim of this paper is to explain the concept of the notion of green tourism as an innovative offer on the tourism market. The emphasis in this paper is given on opportunities for the hotel industry through an example of a green hotel.
