Sažetak
A discussion of the methodological question of how to evaluate and appropriately use written sources. The problem of reliability is illustrated by showing misuse of written sources in case of Medvedgrad. It is argued that only a comprehensive and careful use of all evidence could produce desired results, and over-relying on written sources and their dubious explanation must lead to errors which are later on hard to correct.
