Sažetak
The research of the axisymmetric backward extrusion process of the first stage of diving container is presented in the paper. The general principles in the development of metal forming processes and process for semifinished product in particularly are briefly discussed. Axisymmetric extrusion is chosen as an example for finite element modeling. This is carried out after making simplifying assumption of deforming geometry. The investigation was performed with material Al-Mg3.
