Sažetak
The research of the axisymmetric backward extrusion process of the first stage of diving container is presented in the paper. The general principles in the development of metal forming processes and process for semifinished product in particularly are briefly discussed. This carried out after making simplifying assumption of the deformation geometry. The investigation of the backward extrusion in semi-hot conditions was performed on Al-Mg3 according to ISO R-209 and DIN 1725.
