Sažetak
Downhole emulsification process mixing crude oil samples with synthetic brine and/or mud filtrate was studied using various laboratory methods. The results of tests indicate a satble w/o emulsion unde downhole temperature (145 C), which caused reduced fluid mobility. Asphaltenes and contamination with solid colloidal particles increased emulsion stability.
