Sažetak
This research treated three interrelated issues: 1) What is the partial contribution of hypothetical mental processing dynamics attributes in overall time of chronometrical cognitive CRD tests, when as speed attributes (TMIN) the indicators of the shortest solving time and as stability attributes the derived indicator of idle time (UB) are used? 2) Can the sources of variance of the hypothetical indicators of mental processing dynamics be interpreted by means of factor analysis? 3) What is the contribution of mental processing dynamics attributes to the variance of paper-and-pencil test performance indicators? The results obtained revealed high correlation between the dynamics attributes and the overall solving times in all chronometrical tests, since their mutual correlation is low. Factor analysis of speed indicators (TMIN) and stability indicators (UB) on 4 applied tests of CRD series, revealdthe two independent factors. One factor correlated significantly with speed only, and the other stability indicators only, which indicates the exsistence of independent mental processing dynamic characteristics. Further factor analysis revealed that the variance of paper-and-pencil test performance is partly determined by mental processing dynamics attributes too.
