Sažetak
In the paper the critical speeds, as well forced vibrations due unbalance, for the rotor in insufficiently lubricated plain bearings with large clearances are considered.
In the theoretical part the linearised model was used. The model was discretised by using the finite elements method. The experimental part was carried out using test rotor and instrumentation for measurements of rotor vibrations.
The expression for the calculation of natural frequencies of rotor with clearances in bearing was proposed. The numerically and experimentally obtained natural frequencies were compared in the Campbells diagram. Also numerically and measured rotors orbits, as well as numerical results of first order excitation and first harmonic tracking measurements were compared. Run down cascade diagrams of the rotor were shown.
