Sažetak
The presentation deals with competent and creative approach while dealing with project performance. The first part of presentation analyze construction and investment project performance results at the global level. The main causes of poor performance and project failures are shown, especially for large projects and megaprojects. The identified sources like missing elements, late changes and behavior are particularly explained. Results for 727 executed construction projects was shown, so as data about cost and time overruns. The conclusion part explain six phases of methodology developed under the research project at the University of Zagreb with an aim to improve project performance using competent and creative project management based on risk monitoring and control. The methodology provide ground for step by step dynamic approach in delivering project success, using dynamic approach and competent and creative thinking and working.
