Sažetak
The purpose of this study was to examine some aspects of quality of life among Croatian adolescents with respect to adjusted WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire. During the initial interview with the child and adolescent psychiatrist (at University hospital department) patients filled out a set of questionnaires. The sample consisted of 100 participants, range 14-18 years of age, mean age 17 years. In self harming group (adolescents with deliberate self harming - DSH and indirect deliberate self harming - IDSH) there were 47 participants, 78, 7% girls and 21, 3% boys, and in non-self harming group there were 53 participants, 28, 8% girls and 79, 2% boys. Compared with the non-self harming group, DSH/IDSH patients had significantly lower scores in adjusted WHOQOL- BREF domains.
