Sažetak
Paper is focused at the analysis of the thermal performance of the furnaces type SAS, determined to remelt aluminum in the company SLOVALCO, a.s. To evaluate the thermal performance of the Al scrap melting process carried out were the practical measurements on given aggregates. Results obtained from measurements were applied for the detailed analysis of the furnaces performance as well as to balance the input and output energies for the aluminum remelting process and also to design the mathematical model of the Al charge heating and melting.
