Sažetak
Contemporary theoretical and practical approaches to economic and social development indicate the need for transformation of the business value system in order to strengthen the democratic element of economic and social activities as a prerequisite for sustainability. The development of modern management models is directed at finding the appropriate technology to implement such ideas. In that sense, the paper discusses the prospects of the paradigm shift and proposes the learning organization concept as a technology for the implementation of the socioeconomic paradigm. The proposed learning organization structure-behavior platform can be analyzed from the organizational and individual perspective. The proposed concept based on the learning organization premises can contribute to the development of the social democratic process and welfare so the main social challenge within the learning framework becomes stimulating positive manifestations of cooperation and complexity as well as increasing behavioral variety as a means of fighting entropy and still dominating mental models based on functional differentiation. By stimulating the formation of participative learning groups and communities, an enterprise becomes a versatile, dynamic and unstable entity reflecting both the internal and external development patterns through permanent questioning of the existing mental models.
