Sažetak
The thesis focuse on the imagary depicting the life of Thomas Aquinas in the context of the 13th-and 14th-Century Piety and the role of Mendicant Orders in Italy. Allegorical imagary such as Glorifications and Triumphs of Thomas Aquinas, as well as the theological meaning of fresco cycles and alatrpieces that his teaching has inspired in late Medieval and Renaissance art produced within the Dominican circle are examined.
