Sažetak
Computer graphics are usually produced by desktop applications, which is a process that requires consumption of local resources and time as well as effort spent on generic operations and creative work. Said approach in creation of desired graphics is acceptable if it's a onetime job which results are graphics with an artistic value, but if there's a frequent need for a numerous simple pictures which differ only in a certain detail without artistic value, process automation is a cost effective solution. Regards on extensive development of multimedia as a branch of graphic technology and Web as a modern visual communications medium, numerous graphic experts specialized in a development of Web oriented graphic products, whereby in a purpose of product demonstration they usually use temporary graphic contents without artistic value. Because of Web's network nature, such content is possible to produce using distant Web application according to given parameters and output as a raster graphics in a context of static Web page. This paper will show the process of making and using such a system, using open source technologies, as well as it's advantages and disadvantages.
