Sažetak
Anxiety of children with ID in Croatia Aim: The study examined anxiety of children with ID in Croatian regular schools as reported on the The Scale of Fears and Anxieties of Children and Teenagers (SCAD 62, Vulić - Prtorić, 2003). Method:The sample is consisted of 12 years old children from regular schools from capital town and surrounding (15 children with Id and 15 typical children).They fulfilled the survey in the classroom groups. Results: Great number of the children show high anxiety level.The major results have shown a statistically significantly higher anxiety level of children with ID compared to the typical children regarding to all measured aspects except the scale of worry, where no difference was observed between the two children groups. Conclusion:This finding shows us the need for creation and implementation prevention programs of support for children in inclusive shools.
