Sažetak
Endometriosis may present diagnostic challenges in FNAB and sometimes a bizarre appearance of cysts hysticyts can confuse morphologic diagnosis as well. Additional immunoassaying and can reveal cell origin, and DNA cytometry can be helpful but most important is a requirement in clinical cytopathological correlation to avoid misdiagnoses.
