Sažetak
The paper presents results of the investigation of a hull resistances for mono-hull and the SWATH patrol craft design concepts. Themono-hull resistance is estimated based on data of model experiments (SKLAD series) conducted by Brodarski Institutin Zagreb, Croatia. The SWATH resistance is estimated based on available data of existing ships as well as existing model tests data. The comparison showed that there is no significant difference in hull resistances for the two hull concepts. The results give very useful information’s for the choice of a patrol craft design capable of reaching speeds of 30knots.
