Sažetak
The section discusses different aspects of leisure and pleasure in everyday life in medieval Dalmatian cities and their hinterland. First paper, based on notarial records, discusses material and non-material ways of finding pleasure in everyday life in a home of upper class family in medieval Dalmatian city. The second one discusses the attitudes towards adultery in Late Medieval Dubrovnik, the impact of class boundaries on adultery and extramarital affairs, the influence of social ranking on attitudes towards adultery and its frequency, the most common outcome of adulterous affairs. The third paper depicts the luxury in everyday life of the nobility of Zadar's hinterland. The section deals with various points of view on pleasure and leisure: normative and intellectual. The first paper discusses attempts of urban communities on regulating (by both, prohibiting or organising) ways in which their inhabitants amused themselves, as well as attitudes towards different kinds of amusement of both secular and spiritual authorities. The second one analyses communal regulations concerning exporting, importing, selling and serving wine in public inns in medieval Dalmatian cities. The third paper depicts how humanistic poetry is used as a way of entertaining by a case study on Ianus Pannonius, one of the first Croatian-Hungarian humanists.
