Sažetak
Program created in NI LabVIEW software package enables acquisition and analysis of the data from the vehicle CAN bus via the EOBD interface by using the NI USB 8743s module. Vehicle’s data are displayed as a function of time and saved to a file for further analysis. Accelerometer is installed in the vehicle and also in the LabVIEW code suitable mathematical model is implemented. By measuring the dynamic characteristic of the vehicle, acceleration and velocity, and using implemented mathematical model torque and power of the vehicle engine is calculated. Results were validated with the results obtained by measuring the engine characteristic on the roller dynamometer.
