Sažetak
There has been a significant increase of atmospheric greenhouse gas (GHG) concentrations since industrial revolution till nowadays. These increased GHG concentrations contributes to greater warming of atmosphere than the natural one would be. Approximately 10 % of total GHG emissions in Croatia belongs to the agricultural sector according to experts estimates. The GHG emissions from agriculture are primarily caused by livestock breeding, fossil fuel consumptions by agricultural engineering, deforestation, fertilizer consumptions and soil tillage. Due to these facts, it is of interest to scientists to determine a relationship between tillage induced CO2 emissions from agricultural soils and climatic factors. Field experiment with six different tillage treatments was set up on Stagnic Luvisols near Daruvar (central lowland Croatia) and continental climate. Tillage treatments differ in implemented tools, depth and direction of tillage. In this paper, the relationship between agroclimatic factors (air temperature, relative air humidity, soil temperature and soil moisture) and tillage induced soil CO2 emissions during 2012 (n=13) is presented.
