Projects do differ. Customers do differ. The question is, are there any similarities between projects and customers? If there are, how these can be leveraged to enhance project success? The presentation stems from the experience of managing multiple parallel Liferay projects of different sizes for customers in different verticals across the Europe, and it focuses on the approach that company can undertake in order to manage these projects. The presentation will provide an insight on what customers expect from the Liferay based projects and which are the main standard and custom developed portlets used for the most frequently requested functionalities. It will also give an overview of the possible organization of the development team and company in order to speed up delivery and enhance customer expectations. Finally, to demonstrate applicability of Liferay in all kind of situations, typical Liferay based applications developed by OptimIT in different verticals will be shown.
