Sažetak
Huge competition and continuously changing globalized market demands require constant change and improvements of company’s business. The philosophy of Lean production offers a wide variety of advantages for production system improvements. Lean production concept is understood as the realization of Lean principle through the efficient application of methods and tools, with faster and more effective discovering of wastes and mistakes in the production systems. This article contains a presentation of modified Lean tool, Value Stream Mapping, application, on power transmission casings production. Designed future state according Lean principles showed improvement opportunities and lead time reduction despite high product mix.
