Sažetak
In this paper a selection of Spielberg’s war movies with the Second World War as their theme is discussed. An overview of the Second World War was a goal of many other directors as well, but Spielberg is particularly famous for his world-renowned war films. His most famous war films about the Second World War, described in this paper, are: Schindler’s List, Saving Private Ryan and Empire of the Sun. Also, his other films with the action taking place during the Second World War, like Raiders of the Lost Ark and 1941, are mentioned.
