Sažetak
The end term paper explores William Golding’s Lord of the Flies. Winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, Golding is considered as one of the best writers of the 20th century. After explaining the meaning of the title, the style, setting and narration are discussed. The main part of the final paper consists of the characters' analysis and the elaboration of the main themes. As each character is a representative of one theme, it was very convenient to sum the two under the title “No Man is an Island”, a well-known phrase from Meditations XVII written by the English poet John Donne.
