The analysis of the novel The Buddha of Suburbia includes aspects like racism and discrimination, as well as the relationship between the periphery and the city. Their impact is very significant since it influences the behaviour of society and culture. Kureishi's culture of origin has had an enormous influence on his writing, and this is why his works encompass the themes like racism, discrimination, political segregation, etc. The role of the main protagonist is based on true events that happen in everyday life. Society is the main factor of racial discrimination, prostitution, and human exploitation.
