Sažetak
London has a far more important role in the novel than merely the one of spatial context. Therefore the aim of this essay is to examine the role of London in Mrs Dalloway, that is to say how the city influences characters and analyse the relationship between the city space and characters’ inner places. A prominent role is given to the analysis of the symbolism of means of transport used in the novel.
