Sažetak
The main goal of the thesis is to analyze and compare Edward Morgan Forster’s novel A Room with a View, written in 1908, to its adaptation directed by James Ivory in 1985. It also keeps track of the process of adaptation and tries to explain how certain changes and effects are designed to make the adaptation interesting and functional as a film. The thesis provides a detailed analysis of the narrative structure reconstruction and the process of transformation of the novel into the film, with reference to the heritage cinema.
