Sažetak
The paper focuses on William Shakespeare's tragedies, specifically the notion of the tragic hero in Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth and King Lear. In author's opinion, a hero is always a victim of his own tragic plot, and the final price which he pays is the tragic end. The paper contributes to the better understanding of tragic heroes in Shakespeare's works, and explores their relationships and their complex nature.
