Sažetak
The paper deals with the acquisition of grammatical structures in the early learning of English. In the theoretical part the most important factors affecting foreign language learning in the ealry age, adolescence and adulthood were given and the advantages of early foreign language learning was done. In the experimental part the results of the observation fo one of the classes included into the project of early foreign language learning in Zagreb were given and discussed. It was concluded that the pupils observed acquired most of the structures in English by the age of 11/12 and that they were using them spontaneously and actively. The conclusion was made that the project of early foreign language brought the expecte results.
