Sažetak
Strategic approach to managing compound project implies an adequate selection of partners within the consortium. Furthermore, it implies the choice of expert as societies within member state or partner institutions, planning of all necessary activities and efficient organization, precise distribution of tasks and coordination of the dynamics of the realization at joint meetings of all members. In particular, records of research contribution and project achievements are kept. The scheduled realization of the process and tasks are characteristic of the implementation according to the clearly defined mutual goal. Within the framework of the FP7 compound project MAPICC 3D the partnership agreement includes 19 member states, in addition to the coordinator. Each member state or partner institution of the project has clearly defined objectives and schedule of activities with accomplishments. One of the compound tasks is the investigation and comparison of performance among several member states /partners which is being conducted in the research laboratories of the Faculty of Textile Technology, University of Zagreb. It implies the investigation of materials (knitted, composite, knitted and 3D composite materials) on several measuring instruments installed at the premises of several project members and conducted by their research teams. The evaluation of optimum composite properties will be done on the basis of test results. The primary task and goal is to provide, based on comparable results, suggestions for optimizing achievements and effective project goals of the MAPICC 3D project.
