Sažetak
The Company is organizing the work of the people and creates a certain system in which each employee has their exact role. One of the basic functions of management is organization. Organizing includes setting proper organizational structure of the company. Without a clear conception of the role, mission and objectives of each employee is unlikely to be able to achieve the desired organizational goals. Organizational structures such activity will enable more efficient management of business enterprises. The organization can be formal and informal, depending on the intensity of structuring. Formal organization establishes a technical process where they clearly prescribed rules, while the informal organization employees have greater freedom of behavior and less strict set of rules that must be respected. A setup organization covers a range of methods that enable troubleshooting and contribute to the development of enterprises. When setting up the organizational structure of the managers should pay attention to the following elements: work specialization, the division into departments, the chain of command, span of control, centralization and decentralization, and formalization. After knowing all the advantages and disadvantages of each of these elements and the characteristics or nature of the work it is possible to set the proper organizational structure. The structure is a dynamic element of that organization to makes it a unique set of all parts of enterprise and incorporates the use of all available resources in it. Because of its importance in achieving the manager’s goals and business, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the effects of organizational structure on the effectiveness of managers in the company. The research results show that a less formal organization structure has a greater impact on the effectiveness of managers. An effective manager skill in such an organizational structure becomes a key success factor in business.
