Sažetak
This work studies influence of sorts, weights and thicknesses of paper on determining a scheme for 16 pages folds that can be folded and the capability of making a quality 16 pages folds, one of the most widely used fold. Five schemes were used, folded and compared. They were folded on different sorts of paper, with different weights and thicknesses. The goal was to explore which fold gives the best result on different sorts of paper and the fold that should be used in everyday work in a printing company. The results were compared and recommendations made. Also this work deals with boundaries of folding 16 pages folds depending on the thickness and weights of paper. The experimental part of this work was done on Heidelberg folding machines in Zrinski d.d., printing and publishing company from Čakovec. For that authors are very grateful, to all the colleges especially to the directors who made it possible to produce this work.
