Sažetak
The work of Henry Miller and Jean-Luc Nancy shows how interruption is absolutely essential for community to occur. To paint, to write, or to love is never to do it once, but to do it again. Interruption can lead to starting over, and over, which might allow something vital to presence itself. Both Miller and Nancy, although in different ways and in different contexts, not only argue that interruption is important, but that it is essential. It is essential because this starting afresh actually becomes the subject of the work of art.
